A dental bridge replaces one or more missing teeth with a fixed restoration anchored to the natural teeth on either side of the gap. The result is a permanent, non-removable replacement that looks and functions like your natural teeth.
Bridges are an excellent alternative to implants when the neighboring teeth need crowns anyway, when bone won't support an implant, or when faster treatment is preferred. The whole process typically takes 2–3 weeks.
At PGS, we offer traditional porcelain bridges, all-ceramic bridges for cosmetic areas, and implant-supported bridges when multiple teeth need replacing. Our dentists will recommend what fits your case best.

Evaluation
We confirm a bridge is the right option. Anchor teeth must be strong enough to support the bridge — we check with X-rays and exam.

Anchor preparation
The teeth on either side of the gap are shaped to receive crowns. Local anesthesia keeps you comfortable.

Impressions / scans
Digital scans capture the exact shape needed. The bridge is custom-made by a dental lab to match your other teeth.

Temporary bridge
You wear a temporary while the final is being made — typically 2–3 weeks. Avoid sticky and very hard foods during this time.

Permanent bridge placement
The final bridge is bonded into place. We refine the bite, polish, and walk through care so the bridge lasts.

How long does a dental bridge last?
10–15 years is typical with good hygiene; many last longer. The lifespan depends on the health of the anchor teeth and your oral care.
Bridge vs. implant — which is better?
Implants don't disturb neighboring teeth and last longer, but cost more and take longer. Bridges are faster and often cheaper, especially when neighboring teeth need crowns anyway.
How do I clean under a bridge?
Specialized floss threaders or water flossers clean under the false tooth. We'll demonstrate the technique at delivery.
Will the bridge feel natural?
After a brief adjustment period, yes. Modern bridges are color-matched and shaped to feel like your natural teeth when chewing and speaking.
